Youngone is a South Korean original design manufacturer (ODM) that produces for foreign outdoor brands including The North Face and Nike, and it builds around 60 percent of its products in Bangladesh, where it opened its first overseas factory back in 1980 (KED Global, Jul 2024). It is the largest foreign investor and the largest private employer in Bangladesh, with over 65,000 employees in the country (Textile World, Dec 2025). In short, a major supplier of North Face outdoor gear runs much of its manufacturing on Bangladeshi soil.

That is a telling data point. It is a clear sign that the country's better factories handle complex, high-specification outerwear, not just simple basics. Groups like Youngone have invested in exactly the specialized capacity that premium down jackets and technical shells require.

Which North Face products come from Bangladesh

We stay honest here. VF publishes which factories it uses, but it does not publish a public style-by-style map of exactly which factory sews which North Face product. Brands rotate production by season, product type, and capacity. Origins move over time.

From what the disclosure and reporting show, and from the labels people find:
